The project aims to provide a taxi boat service to reduce road traffic and traffic accidentin Phnom Penh by using 4 boats of 60 passenger capacity with departure schedulefrom 6am to 6pm from five stations such as; Russey Keo, Phsar Chas, Naga World,Chbar Ampov, and Takhmao city. The services may attract tourists to enjoy a short-time river sightseeing.This project is implemented by Phnom Penh Capital Hall with the government budgetand completed in 2019 with the benefits of improving water transport in Phnom Penhand creating business opportunities along the Tonle Sap, Tonle Bassac and Mekongrivers.
